Chasing the Wind

When her grandmother dies, Anna returns to her home village by the sea. She hasn’t been there in years. Her bitter, old grandfather Johannes is not pleased to see her, and even Anna’s ex-boyfriend Håvard seems more than surprised at her return. Johannes hardly says a word. Even the undertaker is scared off by the grumpy old man. Luckily Håvard helps out with building a coffin - Anna’s charm bears fruit. But her return opens old wounds. When Anna’s fiancé Mathias suddenly shows up, Anna must decide as to what is most important to her.

A melancholy, yet humorous film about the impossibility of leaving the past behind, and the possibility of nevertheless arriving in the present.
